การแสดงผลข้อมูลผ่านช่องทางออกแบบขนานของแผงวงจรไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ 154 The Journal of the Royal Society of Thailand Volume 40 Number 4 Oct-Dec 2015 Abstract Data Display Through the Parallel Ports of the Microcontroller Board for Learning Mongkol Dejnakarintra Fellow of the Academy of Science, The Royal Society, Thailand This article presents various methods for data display through the parallel ports on the 8255 IC of the Microcontroller Board for Learning, the hardware which the author has previously presented. The author used three different kinds of electronic devices: (1) a group of eight or more discrete light- emitting diodes (LEDs), (2) 7-segment LED display modules, and (3) a character- type LCD display module, and used a number of digital ICs as supporting devices, namely, 74240, 7447, and 4511. In addition, the author presents the software for controlling the associated hardware. Experiments done on the hardware and software for various methods of the data display gave satisfactory results.
